The room was super clean. The service is wonderful. The view was amazing. We live in central Florida so we are used to the heat, humidity and bugs. I highly recommend taking bug spray and using it a few times a day along with sunblock. The adventures were the best! The jungle plane was an adventure as well. The guides were so knowledgable and friendly...Mike, Oz, Milky. We did snorkeling, hiking, and the Mayan ruins. The massage at the end of the trip was perfect! The pool was so refreshing. The really great thing about Beaches and Dreams is that is not so over crowded. We enjoyed the pool alone and another time with a couple. You can rent a golf cart and go into town. Make sure to stop by and purchase something from Alex. He has handmade jewelry and wood carvings. Stop by Nice ice cream and enjoy so really great tasting ice cream. I would love to see beaches and dreams add some live music even if it's for an hour each evening. 🙂 The food was omg so tasty and fresh. The watermelon smoothie amazing. The two recommendations I have is for customer service. If someone has not paid the balance or replied that they received an itinerary, I... The two recommendations I have is for customer service. If someone has not paid the balance or replied that they received an itinerary, I would recommend checking in with them maybe with a phone call to make sure they received the email. It was a bit stressful at first realizing they send out itineraries 2 weeks before your trip and I didn't receive one (yes, I checked my junk folder), but with that being said, we didn't have any issues. I had called at the airport and the gentleman at Beaches and Dreams was helpful. My other is to have a smoking area for smokers. It didn't affect us, but I know our friends were getting a bit annoyed with the smell going in their room. My only negative, I know ugh, was that the dog peed in the sand and that was a bit gross for me. The people downstairs did stay up partying late one night so remember people are on vacation and may want to have a good time. I'm not sure if they have quiet hours but book your trip with beaches and dreams and have fun! The people work hard and it's hot so remember to bring cash for tips and souvenirs. 🙂 We hope to return!
