Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.

We had an amazing stay at Beaches and Dreams for our honeymoon!

The entire staff was incredible. The front desk/office was welcoming and friendly and were helpful with whatever we needed.

The restaurant staff (Miss P, Ben, Amanda) made our stay very special. They were personable and took moments during their food service to connect with us as people. The stay would not have been the same without them!

The tour staff (Oz, Manuel, Keith) had an absurd amount of knowledge about Belize and its history. We could listen to them talk about these excursions and their experiences for days!

Overall, the Beaches and Dreams experience was unforgettable and we will most certainly be coming back!

What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. Amazing experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful facilities. Everything was perfect. Great communication before the trip, and all the assistance we needed during the trip. There's always opportunity for difficulty and stress when arriving in a foreign country and navigating around. From the moment we walked out of the airport (Victor was waiting with an air conditioned van) to the moment we left, Beaches and Dreams helped us create a wonderful Belize experience. We also had a lot of free time to explore on our own, and with the free bikes from B&D, we explored the beautiful village of Hopkins and spent time with the locals. - Nicholas - 7/27/2023 

First family trip outside of the USA and we had a rough first day. Melanie, in the front office, arranged a trip to a clinic for our son who smashed his face on the ocean from flipping off the big dock of another resort. Dr. Valentine took great care of us. Restaurant staff were extremely accommodating, supportive and attentive to us while we were so out of sorts.

The menu is small but EVERYTHING is delicious and fresh. Definitely try the Family Lunch if available. We already miss our breakfasts and we’re sad to only have one day with the Sea Bar. Best Pizza and Kebobs!

Our drivers, our tour guides, the office staff and Barracuda gang went above and beyond for every task and request. Ruger, the 19-yr old resort dog, was a bit temperamental but always happy, and he was my one son’s favorite resort member. The local boys were my other son’s favorite people. They hung out every day.

Cabana rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable. We stayed in Scarlett McCaw and our boys in Garden Haven. Two separate rooms/entrances in one cabana. Perfect for our family. Water pressure and toilets are slower here. And that was ok once we adjusted our attitudes.

We were hardly ever in the rooms because we were busy with our adventures and being outside. Everything being arranged and scheduled for us made this experience so amazing that we are already planning our next trip.

Snorkeling, Jungle Horse, Xunatunich, Cave Tubing, Monkey River and Zip Lining at Angel Falls. We saw sharks, schools of fish, beautiful coral, monkeys, crocodiles, bats, toucans, pelicans, ruins that are thousands of years old, and the cleanest water around. We learned so much about Hopkins, Belizeans, culture and history . All of our drivers and guides were passionate.

Weather had canceled an adventure so when we begged for some magic from Melanie and Lauren. Not only did they rearrange our last two days for us but they sent us to a more extreme zip lining company snd I’m so grateful because it was the highlight for all of us. Definitely request Angel Falls if you are the adrenaline seeker. I’m not. I survived. I get motion sick and don’t like heights but Frisco and Jose made me feel so safe and comfortable that I would do it again.

We did not need as much cash as we brought. Restaurant gratuity can be added to the room. We tipped our drivers and guides in cash. Souvenirs in cash are a little cheaper but most places take credit cards.

There are shops in Dangriga Airport. You can buy sunscreen and bug spray there. We brought 4 sunscreen and 2 bug sprays. Needed extra bug spray; we had sun protective clothing and I had a neck fan.

Rent the golf cart. Go into Hopkins. It felt like the safest place on the planet. If you want other snacks, go to the grocery store. I know it might seem different to eat at only certain times when you’re on vacation but it was plenty and perfect (except your arrival travel day if you were like us - we were a hot mess that first day, and they loved on us like family).

We had a great time staying at Beaches & Dreams. Everyone who works there really cares about providing the best experience possible for their guests. I want to thank Miss Lauren for accommodating my schedule change requests which enabled us to snorkel on a Friday that turned out to be the perfect day for snorkeling. I want to help thank Nadine and Darnell for helping us with our reservations and answering our many questions.

I want to thank Keith especially for being an amazing and patient tour guide. I want to thank the snorkeling guides but I don’t remember their names. They were wonderful. I also want to thank Manuel who took us on two tours and was fun and very knowledgeable. The front desk staff were also wonderful Marissa, Maritchka (so?), Justin, Darnel, and Darnel. Oz, our driver was also really great and we just loved his daughter. The kitchen staff are fantastic as well - especially the chef who always came to check on us Miss P, who was always so sweet and cheerful in the morning and Amanda, who was our photographer for our unforgettable honeymoon dinner. We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and it was fabulous! The Baracuda restaurant was right there and the food was amazing. All of our excursions were planned ahead of time, so all we had to do was show and go. Oz was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on our excursions. Best trip ever!! Great bartender Ben aka “sexy guy, Justin and Darnell were so helpful with any questions we had, Pauline in the restaurant was the best! K Mike took us snorkeling and it was awesome! We would love to come back to this quaint boutique resort again. It is so much better than the large , busy resorts you find in the touristy areas. - Favor - 3/04/2025
