What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. We even chatted with one of the owners Jess and she wanted to make sure we were happy. Rooms are very nice, the whole resort is so personable. - Kim - 10/19/2024 

All I can say is WOW! I miss it already. We visited Beaches and Dreams in August for a week's vacation with my family and my sister's family. We stayed in the Blue Parrot house booked through Beaches and Dreams, which allowed us all to be together with a pool on the beach. Making the reservations and booking the tours was a piece of cake. They just took such good care of us from the get go. Any question or issue was addressed immediately. The all Belizian staff was one of the best parts. They truly became our friends. During planning, I was a little worried about only having one restaurant, but it was actually one of my favorite parts. They had new dinner specials each day and the food was fantastic as was the service! Ben, Evan, Milky, Ceasar, Amanda...you guys are WONDERFUL. Oh, and the tours...I really thought they were booked through another company, but no...we had our very own tour guides and our tours were incredible. Our favorite had to be the Mayan temple and Cave Tubing with Oz. It was a FULL day, but I have never experienced anything like it and learned so much about Belizian history and culture. All of the tour guides...Oz, Victor, K-Mike, and the snorkeling crew again, just took great care of us. Everything was planned to perfection. This is truly a little slice of heaven. We went there to relax and have a little fun and I can honestly say, it was one vacation that I came home actually feeling rested. The sad part is that I really want to go back. - Emily - 8/28/2024 

My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all! This is a wonderful boutique resort! We were here Saturday to Saturday in early March. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We did lots of excursions including snorkeling the barrier reef, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, Monkey river, ATV ride and bioluminescent lagoon. We had a fabulous time on all of them. The day we went snorkeling the water was rough but Captain Floyd did his best to make the ride a little smoother. Kamike was great at pointing out a leopard ray and lots of cool stuff on the reef. The restaurant staff (Ms P, Amanda, Milky, Ben, Kelsy, Doreen, and so many more!) were always pleasant and the food was top notch. The chef prepared specials daily that were so good. A couple recommendations: definitely bring lots of bug repellant! Also, the bio tour would be great when there's no moon. The moon was so bright that the bio lagoon wasn't as spectacular, but it was still cool to see. They also go the extra mile to schedule tours when it's not as busy with cruise ship traffic. We felt very safe and well taken care of! A quick note to also thank the office staff, Justin who was "Johnny on the spot" for all our needs. Darnell, Darnel, and Nadine helped us with our schedule, Keith was great on our Mayan Ruins and cave tubing day. So many great experiences! I hope I got everyone! This is the best family vacation we’ve done out of 7 years!! The staff is so nice and friendly. The village of Hopkins was very safe and wonderful people. We did all-inclusive and it was the best! 4 course meals every night!! The ocean is so warm and calm. The excursions were really fun. We can’t wait to come back and try more.
Our legs are all bitten up from the no-seeums. So next time I would bring coconut oil. I read that the oil will block their bite. - Sarah - 3/21/2025

Absolutely the most relaxing vacation we have taken. 2 couples, brother/sister and spouse’s. We stayed in the cabana rooms. Spacious room with wonderful location to beach, pool and restaurant, beds are comfortable and the a/c and fans kept the room perfect for us. Loved having the fridge and water bottle in the room. Loved the private patio.

Restaurant and bar, lots of food to eat everyday, we had to cut back drastically as there was so much. Enough of a variety for a weeks stay. Loved the fresh made everything. Loved the staff who got to know us pretty quickly. Shout out to Ben, Amanda, Kelsey. Mrs. P. And Doreen. All were great.

Loved that we choose our excursions ahead of time and had our days planned out. We did Bioluminescence tour, snorkeling, ruin and cave tubing, ATV, and monkey river tours. Great tour guides, KMiike was wonderful in the water tours.

We felt spoiled by all staff. We loved the small all inclusive feel over a Larger resort. Would highly recommend the resort and Hopkins village.

Read the information posted when making a reservation, they are very upfront with what is offered, available and costs.

Notes = they can’t control the weather or the sand bugs. But they do offer suggestions for both, so there are no surprise.

Use a golf cart to visit the village, a small town close by.
