What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. We even chatted with one of the owners Jess and she wanted to make sure we were happy. Rooms are very nice, the whole resort is so personable. - Kim - 10/19/2024 

ImmBest trip ever. Started with my fantastic pilot . I believe his name was Brian. Expert and so friendly . Safe take off and smooth landing yo Uopkins landing. Greeted byMelainie the office manager. The front desk Personel was top flight.
Let me not leave out my wonderful driver , Oz. So personable and knowledgeable about the layout of the village and possible village excursions. He was also my driver to the incredible waterfall hike. A must. Chsllengingvhutbohvso geautiful and worth the hike
Which brings me to Gicyor, the driver and tour guide tor the Mayanyour of pyramids and digs. He was awesome. His personality was so much fun. The tour was definitely enhanced by his commentary. We went to the “blue hole for a swim and a wonderful restaurant
There was a mix up with my lunch order and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delectable vegetarian lunch to my satisfaction
The food was beyond cesar, Milky, and Hirdman delivered frat gocktaiks Hrlican and Barrel one rum. Every meal was delectable i. Particularly the lobster tail and ribs. Bird man made sure I tasted a local fruit Cranoo. Delectable. Also a featured cocktail along with tamarind. The goconlicoband the coconut Kim are a must and the Jawuarbjuice.I am young back . I did not have enough time

We had the best week at Beaches and Dreams. We actually stayed at the sister hotel Parrot Cove Lodge but were part of the inclusive package at Beaches and Dreams. All of our check in, tours, and included meals were at Beaches and Dreams and we had full use of their amenities. It has been said many times in these reviews, but I first need to mention the wonderful staff at Beaches and Dreams. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were part of the family. Thanks to everyone that made my family and I feel so welcome. From the first emails with Darnell and Laren I knew this was the place for us. The front office staff, Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant, Oz/Victor/Keith on the driving and land tours, and Kimike/Floyd/Anthony on the marine tours were all so knowledgeable and kind to our family.
We had an action packed week which is just what we wanted, but did enjoy 2 days of free time. On our free days we relaxed on the beach, enjoyed the small but clean pools, played beach volleyball, and rode the free bikes into the town. The town of Hopkins has much to offer and we enjoyed our time visiting shops and restaurants ( Nice Cream, and J&J cool spot), and even playing mini golf. For adventures we did a waterfall hike, ziplining, barrier reef snorkel, barrier reef fishing, Mayan ruins tour, and cave tubing. We loved being able to experience Belize and to learn about the history of the country and the people. The area and hotel are very chill and we enjoyed walking the beach and the dock after dinner each night. My family can not wait to come back. Thanks again Beaches and Dreams. - jem19 - 2/01/2025 

The Beaches and Dreams experience was excellent! Everyone was great. Amanda at the restaurant was great, Keith was very accommodating, and our guide Victor was a superstar (clearly very knowledgeable and fun)! 10/10 recommend Beaches and Dreams, and the excursions: The Garifuna experience, reef snorkeling, and the Maya/cave tubing. - Adventure46706580899 - 7/15/2023 

Highly recommend, particularly for groups. We had six families, 21 people, and Beaches and Dreams staff worked with us to coordinate a group trip with different packages to meet the needs of each family. The resort itself is the perfect size for such a trip. Our teenagers (and several of the adults) could play volleyball any time they wanted. There was never a battle for pool chairs or space. The paddle boards, bikes, and golf carts were readily available most of the time.

But the best thing about Beaches and Dreams is, by far, the people. Every one of them is friendly, enthusiastic, and so good at what they do. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, with a variety of delicious cocktails (included in the drink package) and even got creative and a few new ones to hit the spot with our party. The restaurant, Barracuda, was fantastic. They managed our group of 21 perfectly, and the food was delicious every time. Between the regular menu and specials, I had something different every time and still left without trying everything I wanted to. The tour guides and drivers for the excursions are so knowledgeable about the area and happy to share that information. The people of Hopkins are friendly and we felt safe and welcomed at all times.

We visited with a group of friends and family to celebrate my 50th. Beaches and Dreams has exceeded our expectations.

We are a group of mixed ages and abilities. The resort easily accommodates this variety. The relaxation opportunities are wonderful from lounging to massages to floating in the pool. The opportunities for the more adventurous range from caving to hiking and are breathtaking. The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Now let’s talk about the staff — or should I say “family” — who work at beaches and dreams. They are wonderful and might even be the best part of the trip. The people are genuine and happy. They are so welcoming and we just felt close to them. They know all of our names and even the bartender knows our itinerary.

I cannot say enough about the employees but an extra special shout out to Ms. P and Ben. Ms P is WONDERFUL. Aside from being a fantastic waitress, she is obviously a WONDERFUL human. She chatted with us in a manner that was genuine and real. I absolutely love her and hope to see her again. Ben is more reserved but his smile lights up the bar. He’s a great bartender and took care of all our special requests. He worked extremely hard while we were visiting and had a smile on his face.

I’m getting long winded so some other helpful details: beds good pillows and towels. Plenty of water in the rooms, small refrigerator, ice outside rooms, nice seating area, great solitary places to relax and great group places to relax.

All I can say is WOW! I miss it already. We visited Beaches and Dreams in August for a week's vacation with my family and my sister's family. We stayed in the Blue Parrot house booked through Beaches and Dreams, which allowed us all to be together with a pool on the beach. Making the reservations and booking the tours was a piece of cake. They just took such good care of us from the get go. Any question or issue was addressed immediately. The all Belizian staff was one of the best parts. They truly became our friends. During planning, I was a little worried about only having one restaurant, but it was actually one of my favorite parts. They had new dinner specials each day and the food was fantastic as was the service! Ben, Evan, Milky, Ceasar, Amanda...you guys are WONDERFUL. Oh, and the tours...I really thought they were booked through another company, but no...we had our very own tour guides and our tours were incredible. Our favorite had to be the Mayan temple and Cave Tubing with Oz. It was a FULL day, but I have never experienced anything like it and learned so much about Belizian history and culture. All of the tour guides...Oz, Victor, K-Mike, and the snorkeling crew again, just took great care of us. Everything was planned to perfection. This is truly a little slice of heaven. We went there to relax and have a little fun and I can honestly say, it was one vacation that I came home actually feeling rested. The sad part is that I really want to go back. - Emily - 8/28/2024 

We had an amazing stay at Beaches and Dreams for our honeymoon!

The entire staff was incredible. The front desk/office was welcoming and friendly and were helpful with whatever we needed.

The restaurant staff (Miss P, Ben, Amanda) made our stay very special. They were personable and took moments during their food service to connect with us as people. The stay would not have been the same without them!

The tour staff (Oz, Manuel, Keith) had an absurd amount of knowledge about Belize and its history. We could listen to them talk about these excursions and their experiences for days!

Overall, the Beaches and Dreams experience was unforgettable and we will most certainly be coming back!
