Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

We have been to the Caribbean many times (25+) and Beaches and Dreams is one of the favorite places we have been. From the top notch food, the personable staff, great communication the guides on the excursions we chose and meeting one of the owners. We had the best week at Beaches and Dreams. We actually stayed at the sister hotel Parrot Cove Lodge but were part of the inclusive package at Beaches and Dreams. All of our check in, tours, and included meals were at Beaches and Dreams and we had full use of their amenities. It has been said many times in these reviews, but I first need to mention the wonderful staff at Beaches and Dreams. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were part of the family. Thanks to everyone that made my family and I feel so welcome. From the first emails with Darnell and Laren I knew this was the place for us. The front office staff, Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant, Oz/Victor/Keith on the driving and land tours, and Kimike/Floyd/Anthony on the marine tours were all so knowledgeable and kind to our family.
We had an action packed week which is just what we wanted, but did enjoy 2 days of free time. On our free days we relaxed on the beach, enjoyed the small but clean pools, played beach volleyball, and rode the free bikes into the town. The town of Hopkins has much to offer and we enjoyed our time visiting shops and restaurants ( Nice Cream, and J&J cool spot), and even playing mini golf. For adventures we did a waterfall hike, ziplining, barrier reef snorkel, barrier reef fishing, Mayan ruins tour, and cave tubing. We loved being able to experience Belize and to learn about the history of the country and the people. The area and hotel are very chill and we enjoyed walking the beach and the dock after dinner each night. My family can not wait to come back. Thanks again Beaches and Dreams. - jem19 - 2/01/2025 

my husband and i spent our honeymoon at Beaches & Dreams. OMG it was the most AMAZING trip ever! All the staff are so friendly and fun to talk to. we learned so much about the culture and everyones lifestyles in Belize, saw some breathtaking views at Xunantunich, snorkeling, and even saw some howler monkeys and manatees during the river tour! Beaches and dreams was AMAZING! Every staff person was extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They were flexible and did a great job helping plan our week. One of us got sick and the staff made it a point to go out of their way to help in any way that they could. Absolutely the most relaxing vacation we have taken. 2 couples, brother/sister and spouse’s. We stayed in the cabana rooms. Spacious room with wonderful location to beach, pool and restaurant, beds are comfortable and the a/c and fans kept the room perfect for us. Loved having the fridge and water bottle in the room. Loved the private patio.

Restaurant and bar, lots of food to eat everyday, we had to cut back drastically as there was so much. Enough of a variety for a weeks stay. Loved the fresh made everything. Loved the staff who got to know us pretty quickly. Shout out to Ben, Amanda, Kelsey. Mrs. P. And Doreen. All were great.

Loved that we choose our excursions ahead of time and had our days planned out. We did Bioluminescence tour, snorkeling, ruin and cave tubing, ATV, and monkey river tours. Great tour guides, KMiike was wonderful in the water tours.

We felt spoiled by all staff. We loved the small all inclusive feel over a Larger resort. Would highly recommend the resort and Hopkins village.

Read the information posted when making a reservation, they are very upfront with what is offered, available and costs.

Notes = they can’t control the weather or the sand bugs. But they do offer suggestions for both, so there are no surprise.

Use a golf cart to visit the village, a small town close by.
