Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and it was fabulous! The Baracuda restaurant was right there and the food was amazing. All of our excursions were planned ahead of time, so all we had to do was show and go. Oz was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on our excursions. Best trip ever!! Great bartender Ben aka “sexy guy, Justin and Darnell were so helpful with any questions we had, Pauline in the restaurant was the best! K Mike took us snorkeling and it was awesome! We would love to come back to this quaint boutique resort again. It is so much better than the large , busy resorts you find in the touristy areas. - Favor - 3/04/2025 

What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. It's as advertised. A change of pace. The restaurant is very, very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of our interactions were with Victor and Keith on tours, and Milky and Ben in the restaurant. Miss P was cool too. For the week we were there (last week) we felt like the staff was part of our lives. It must be a talent they have to get that connected to people week in and week out. The ebb and flow of people coming and going. Must be a blur. The resort is your base for tours and adventures. The village of Hopkins is a brief diversion. Rent a golf cart and you can cover Hopkins in two hours. Highly regard this resort, just know what it is you want to do and have a plan. If you just want to sit around and look at the ocean that's great too. Just don't tell you're bored later. Have a plan for activities and go see Belize! - Walt - 1/01/2025 

We had a great time!!! We stayed down the beach at their sister resort, Parrot Cove, as they were booked but did our meals and tours and other activities at Beaches. People are amazing and they were helpful from the first email I sent. Booking answered all questions and were quick to respond. We really got to know the staff. Ben the bartender, Amanda, Darnell, Victor, Keith just a few of the many who were truly great. We had a really good cake for my daughter's 21st bday and the staff made it fun and a time to remember!!! My niece has already been talking about wanting to go back. - tracy7962 - 1/01/2025 

This was one of the greatest vacations of our life. The paradise location, the absolutely wonderful staff and tour guides, the ease of all meals, the limited number of other vacationers in the area .we would all do it over again!!!!! We have been to the Caribbean many times (25+) and Beaches and Dreams is one of the favorite places we have been. From the top notch food, the personable staff, great communication the guides on the excursions we chose and meeting one of the owners. We had a great time staying at Beaches & Dreams. Everyone who works there really cares about providing the best experience possible for their guests. I want to thank Miss Lauren for accommodating my schedule change requests which enabled us to snorkel on a Friday that turned out to be the perfect day for snorkeling. I want to help thank Nadine and Darnell for helping us with our reservations and answering our many questions.

I want to thank Keith especially for being an amazing and patient tour guide. I want to thank the snorkeling guides but I don’t remember their names. They were wonderful. I also want to thank Manuel who took us on two tours and was fun and very knowledgeable. The front desk staff were also wonderful Marissa, Maritchka (so?), Justin, Darnel, and Darnel. Oz, our driver was also really great and we just loved his daughter. The kitchen staff are fantastic as well - especially the chef who always came to check on us Miss P, who was always so sweet and cheerful in the morning and Amanda, who was our photographer for our unforgettable honeymoon dinner. My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all!
