Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

This is a wonderful boutique resort! We were here Saturday to Saturday in early March. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We did lots of excursions including snorkeling the barrier reef, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, Monkey river, ATV ride and bioluminescent lagoon. We had a fabulous time on all of them. The day we went snorkeling the water was rough but Captain Floyd did his best to make the ride a little smoother. Kamike was great at pointing out a leopard ray and lots of cool stuff on the reef. The restaurant staff (Ms P, Amanda, Milky, Ben, Kelsy, Doreen, and so many more!) were always pleasant and the food was top notch. The chef prepared specials daily that were so good. A couple recommendations: definitely bring lots of bug repellant! Also, the bio tour would be great when there's no moon. The moon was so bright that the bio lagoon wasn't as spectacular, but it was still cool to see. They also go the extra mile to schedule tours when it's not as busy with cruise ship traffic. We felt very safe and well taken care of! A quick note to also thank the office staff, Justin who was "Johnny on the spot" for all our needs. Darnell, Darnel, and Nadine helped us with our schedule, Keith was great on our Mayan Ruins and cave tubing day. So many great experiences! I hope I got everyone! We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and it was fabulous! The Baracuda restaurant was right there and the food was amazing. All of our excursions were planned ahead of time, so all we had to do was show and go. Oz was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on our excursions. Best trip ever!! Great bartender Ben aka “sexy guy, Justin and Darnell were so helpful with any questions we had, Pauline in the restaurant was the best! K Mike took us snorkeling and it was awesome! We had an amazing stay at Beaches and Dreams for our honeymoon!

The entire staff was incredible. The front desk/office was welcoming and friendly and were helpful with whatever we needed.

The restaurant staff (Miss P, Ben, Amanda) made our stay very special. They were personable and took moments during their food service to connect with us as people. The stay would not have been the same without them!

The tour staff (Oz, Manuel, Keith) had an absurd amount of knowledge about Belize and its history. We could listen to them talk about these excursions and their experiences for days!

Overall, the Beaches and Dreams experience was unforgettable and we will most certainly be coming back!

What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. I’m currently staying at Beaches and Dreams with 2 other girlfriends! From the moment we arrived everyone here has been so friendly. They have made this trip better than I could have imagined! The staff is knowledgeable, and want to ensure that you’re having a great time.

Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.
