Highly recommend, particularly for groups. We had six families, 21 people, and Beaches and Dreams staff worked with us to coordinate a group trip with different packages to meet the needs of each family. The resort itself is the perfect size for such a trip. Our teenagers (and several of the adults) could play volleyball any time they wanted. There was never a battle for pool chairs or space. The paddle boards, bikes, and golf carts were readily available most of the time.

But the best thing about Beaches and Dreams is, by far, the people. Every one of them is friendly, enthusiastic, and so good at what they do. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, with a variety of delicious cocktails (included in the drink package) and even got creative and a few new ones to hit the spot with our party. The restaurant, Barracuda, was fantastic. They managed our group of 21 perfectly, and the food was delicious every time. Between the regular menu and specials, I had something different every time and still left without trying everything I wanted to. The tour guides and drivers for the excursions are so knowledgeable about the area and happy to share that information. The people of Hopkins are friendly and we felt safe and welcomed at all times.

my husband and i spent our honeymoon at Beaches & Dreams. OMG it was the most AMAZING trip ever! All the staff are so friendly and fun to talk to. we learned so much about the culture and everyones lifestyles in Belize, saw some breathtaking views at Xunantunich, snorkeling, and even saw some howler monkeys and manatees during the river tour! Beaches and dreams was AMAZING! Every staff person was extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They were flexible and did a great job helping plan our week. One of us got sick and the staff made it a point to go out of their way to help in any way that they could. The staff in the office and the restaurant were very helpful and extremely friendly. The beach cabana I stayed in was large, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach and ocean. The restaurant offered a good selection of foods, an open view of the ocean and beach, and excellent service. The resort was within walking distance of four very good restaurants, and the free access to bicycles to the village was an added bonus. All in all, it was an excellent choice for those who are active, appreciate good food and scenery and love adventure tours. - DBS - 2/01/2025 

I’m currently staying at Beaches and Dreams with 2 other girlfriends! From the moment we arrived everyone here has been so friendly. They have made this trip better than I could have imagined! The staff is knowledgeable, and want to ensure that you’re having a great time.

My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all!
