Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

We had an amazing stay at Beaches and Dreams for our honeymoon!

The entire staff was incredible. The front desk/office was welcoming and friendly and were helpful with whatever we needed.

The restaurant staff (Miss P, Ben, Amanda) made our stay very special. They were personable and took moments during their food service to connect with us as people. The stay would not have been the same without them!

The tour staff (Oz, Manuel, Keith) had an absurd amount of knowledge about Belize and its history. We could listen to them talk about these excursions and their experiences for days!

Overall, the Beaches and Dreams experience was unforgettable and we will most certainly be coming back!

Quaint and very relaxing. This is by far the most friendly staff We have ever delt with. Catering to any needs you might have. The resort is small and family owned. Super chill , yet they planned every detail with activities and excursions for us. We didn't have to do a thing when we got there ,other than show up on time. We had a great time staying at Beaches & Dreams. Everyone who works there really cares about providing the best experience possible for their guests. I want to thank Miss Lauren for accommodating my schedule change requests which enabled us to snorkel on a Friday that turned out to be the perfect day for snorkeling. I want to help thank Nadine and Darnell for helping us with our reservations and answering our many questions.

I want to thank Keith especially for being an amazing and patient tour guide. I want to thank the snorkeling guides but I don’t remember their names. They were wonderful. I also want to thank Manuel who took us on two tours and was fun and very knowledgeable. The front desk staff were also wonderful Marissa, Maritchka (so?), Justin, Darnel, and Darnel. Oz, our driver was also really great and we just loved his daughter. The kitchen staff are fantastic as well - especially the chef who always came to check on us Miss P, who was always so sweet and cheerful in the morning and Amanda, who was our photographer for our unforgettable honeymoon dinner. This was absolutely the best vacation I've ever been on, so far. To the staff of both the resort and the Barracuda, thank you all so much for a wonderful time. From the exciting excursions that allowed us to see your beautiful country to the fine dining and even Ruger the beach dog I can't think of a better place to spend a week. Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.

This place was special! It was my kids and husbands first international trip and it couldn’t have been better. First off the people at this resort will exceed your expectations. They smile, they don’t complain, their willingness to help, they share their culture, they are fun and even smile for the camera. They are so organized and keep everything running smoothly. The rooms are great! A wide variety of activities to do and the guides are so amazing! We loved every minute, loved Hopkins, loved the people. Mike and I are ready to go back. My husband and I took our honeymoon to Beaches and Dreams in the beginning of March 2023. It was the most amazing experience! The front staff was so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I really wanted a cabana but it was unavailable for the date when we were first arriving. The staff was able to set it up for us to be able to get the cabana a couple days after we arrived. The room change was flawless and they took care of everything while we were out on a tour that day. We didn't have to lift a finger. The wait staff, Miss P, Armando, Cesar, Ben, and Amanda, were outstanding and really got to know you, they remembered your name room and always made sure everything was satisfactory. Amanda was even great because when I couldn't decide what i wanted and asked her to chose for me and surprise me, she loved that and had so much fun with it. I'm indecisive about food/desert sometimes and I run into a lot of people that don't want to enjoy the freedom in helping me choose. She went above and beyond with it! The tours were incredible and very knowledgeable. Oz did an amazing job when he took us to the Mayan ruins and was also very knowledgeable on the Belizean history. Jeremy took us on the monkey river and he was great! He gave us a great show with the howler monkeys and even though we didn't see a crocodile Jeremy went in every nook and cranny on the river trying to find us one. We had an issue come up with one of our night turs because of the phase of the moon (completely out of Beaches and Dreams control) and originally had to cancel our bioluminescent tour. We were bummed but Mike and Floyd kept an eye on the sundown time and the time the moon rose and were able to take us on the tour the night before we left. It was just my husband and I and they went above and beyond to make sure we got to experience that. The experience that Beaches and Dreams gave us was way more than either of could have imagined and we are so thankful for what an incredible honeymoon they helped us have. Thank you sooo much!
