Our family has worked tirelessly to bring together a luxurious beach scene, authentic adventure, fine dining, and a team that really cares, to create what we truly believe is the best all-inclusive experience in Belize.
You’ll have access to both of our resorts, Beaches and Dreams and Cabana Village, featuring Hopkins’ largest seaside pool, the Barracuda for fine-dining, wood-fired pizza at the Seabar, and poolside dining at “Come as You Are”.
And although we’re all-inclusive, we’re not all exclusive, so your all-inclusive package will include a “Village Pass”, which gives you free access to dinner at Hopkins’ best local restaurants, our golf carts, and our shuttle bus to let you explore our lovely village on us.
Highly recommend, particularly for groups. We had six families, 21 people, and Beaches and Dreams staff worked with us to coordinate a group trip with different packages to meet the needs of each family. The resort itself is the perfect size for such a trip. Our teenagers (and several of the adults) could play volleyball any time they wanted. There was never a battle for pool chairs or space. The paddle boards, bikes, and golf carts were readily available most of the time.
But the best thing about Beaches and Dreams is, by far, the people. Every one of them is friendly, enthusiastic, and so good at what they do. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, with a variety of delicious cocktails (included in the drink package) and even got creative and a few new ones to hit the spot with our party. The restaurant, Barracuda, was fantastic. They managed our group of 21 perfectly, and the food was delicious every time. Between the regular menu and specials, I had something different every time and still left without trying everything I wanted to. The tour guides and drivers for the excursions are so knowledgeable about the area and happy to share that information. The people of Hopkins are friendly and we felt safe and welcomed at all times.

Our week at Beaches and Dreams will live as one of the most memorable vacations we've had. I would not hesitate to book this resort again. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and seemed always to be working hard at making sure guests are getting everything they need and having a great time. The resort itself is very small, so we ran into many of the same people daily which we thought was very nice. Even when we took a golf cart into the village we found the people to be very friendly. I would absolutely suggest booking the food and drink package, we're so glad we did as the meals were so delicious and with the different nightly specials there were plenty of choices. There are bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boards available to borrow, golf carts available to rent, and you can arrange shuttles; all making it really easy to get around. We also booked several tours with the resort, and had a great time at every one. We are beach walkers, and were really happy to find out that Hopkins keeps its sand and water open to everyone so we were able to walk the beach as far as we wanted. Fine Dining on the Sea

This place was special! It was my kids and husbands first international trip and it couldn’t have been better. First off the people at this resort will exceed your expectations. They smile, they don’t complain, their willingness to help, they share their culture, they are fun and even smile for the camera. They are so organized and keep everything running smoothly. The rooms are great! A wide variety of activities to do and the guides are so amazing! We loved every minute, loved Hopkins, loved the people. Mike and I are ready to go back. First family trip outside of the USA and we had a rough first day. Melanie, in the front office, arranged a trip to a clinic for our son who smashed his face on the ocean from flipping off the big dock of another resort. Dr. Valentine took great care of us. Restaurant staff were extremely accommodating, supportive and attentive to us while we were so out of sorts.
The menu is small but EVERYTHING is delicious and fresh. Definitely try the Family Lunch if available. We already miss our breakfasts and we’re sad to only have one day with the Sea Bar. Best Pizza and Kebobs!
Our drivers, our tour guides, the office staff and Barracuda gang went above and beyond for every task and request. Ruger, the 19-yr old resort dog, was a bit temperamental but always happy, and he was my one son’s favorite resort member. The local boys were my other son’s favorite people. They hung out every day.
Cabana rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable. We stayed in Scarlett McCaw and our boys in Garden Haven. Two separate rooms/entrances in one cabana. Perfect for our family. Water pressure and toilets are slower here. And that was ok once we adjusted our attitudes.
We were hardly ever in the rooms because we were busy with our adventures and being outside. Everything being arranged and scheduled for us made this experience so amazing that we are already planning our next trip.
Snorkeling, Jungle Horse, Xunatunich, Cave Tubing, Monkey River and Zip Lining at Angel Falls. We saw sharks, schools of fish, beautiful coral, monkeys, crocodiles, bats, toucans, pelicans, ruins that are thousands of years old, and the cleanest water around. We learned so much about Hopkins, Belizeans, culture and history . All of our drivers and guides were passionate.
Weather had canceled an adventure so when we begged for some magic from Melanie and Lauren. Not only did they rearrange our last two days for us but they sent us to a more extreme zip lining company snd I’m so grateful because it was the highlight for all of us. Definitely request Angel Falls if you are the adrenaline seeker. I’m not. I survived. I get motion sick and don’t like heights but Frisco and Jose made me feel so safe and comfortable that I would do it again.
We did not need as much cash as we brought. Restaurant gratuity can be added to the room. We tipped our drivers and guides in cash. Souvenirs in cash are a little cheaper but most places take credit cards.
There are shops in Dangriga Airport. You can buy sunscreen and bug spray there. We brought 4 sunscreen and 2 bug sprays. Needed extra bug spray; we had sun protective clothing and I had a neck fan.
Rent the golf cart. Go into Hopkins. It felt like the safest place on the planet. If you want other snacks, go to the grocery store. I know it might seem different to eat at only certain times when you’re on vacation but it was plenty and perfect (except your arrival travel day if you were like us - we were a hot mess that first day, and they loved on us like family).

ImmBest trip ever. Started with my fantastic pilot . I believe his name was Brian. Expert and so friendly . Safe take off and smooth landing yo Uopkins landing. Greeted byMelainie the office manager. The front desk Personel was top flight.
Let me not leave out my wonderful driver , Oz. So personable and knowledgeable about the layout of the village and possible village excursions. He was also my driver to the incredible waterfall hike. A must. Chsllengingvhutbohvso geautiful and worth the hike
Which brings me to Gicyor, the driver and tour guide tor the Mayanyour of pyramids and digs. He was awesome. His personality was so much fun. The tour was definitely enhanced by his commentary. We went to the “blue hole for a swim and a wonderful restaurant
There was a mix up with my lunch order and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delectable vegetarian lunch to my satisfaction
The food was beyond cesar, Milky, and Hirdman delivered frat gocktaiks Hrlican and Barrel one rum. Every meal was delectable i. Particularly the lobster tail and ribs. Bird man made sure I tasted a local fruit Cranoo. Delectable. Also a featured cocktail along with tamarind. The goconlicoband the coconut Kim are a must and the Jawuarbjuice.I am young back . I did not have enough time

This is a wonderful boutique resort! We were here Saturday to Saturday in early March. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We did lots of excursions including snorkeling the barrier reef, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, Monkey river, ATV ride and bioluminescent lagoon. We had a fabulous time on all of them. The day we went snorkeling the water was rough but Captain Floyd did his best to make the ride a little smoother. Kamike was great at pointing out a leopard ray and lots of cool stuff on the reef. The restaurant staff (Ms P, Amanda, Milky, Ben, Kelsy, Doreen, and so many more!) were always pleasant and the food was top notch. The chef prepared specials daily that were so good. A couple recommendations: definitely bring lots of bug repellant! Also, the bio tour would be great when there's no moon. The moon was so bright that the bio lagoon wasn't as spectacular, but it was still cool to see. They also go the extra mile to schedule tours when it's not as busy with cruise ship traffic. We felt very safe and well taken care of! A quick note to also thank the office staff, Justin who was "Johnny on the spot" for all our needs. Darnell, Darnel, and Nadine helped us with our schedule, Keith was great on our Mayan Ruins and cave tubing day. So many great experiences! I hope I got everyone!
